Hi! My name is Dr. Lindsay Webster, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Austin, Texas. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families define what wellness means for them and create lasting changes to their emotional, behavioral, and mental health. My approach is holistic, collaborative, and personalized to help you meet your unique goals. I work with clients across the lifespan on a wide variety of problems including, but not limited to, anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and spirituality.

I recently moved back to Austin from Oregon, where I worked as a LPC in private practice and taught counseling courses at Oregon State University-Cascades. Prior to that, I provided counseling services for clients aged 4-60 at outpatient and inpatient clinics in Wyoming and North Texas. I have also worked as a school counselor for all grade levels. I completed my master's degree in Counseling & Development at Texas Woman's University and my Ph.D. in Counseling at the University of North Texas.

As a part of my education, I received specialized training in play therapy, couple counseling, dreamwork, and transpersonal issues in counseling. A professional interest of mine is the integration of complementary mind-body practices in counseling. Specifically, I include mindfulness meditation, yoga, and/or Reiki whenever the client and I agree it is appropriate. Please let me know if you are interested in including any of these complementary interventions with your therapy.

I look forward to meeting you!

-Lindsay C. Webster, Ph.D., LPC, CSC, NCC
